Method

TollWatch is a register of national-highway user-fee plazas that are still live. The roster is the Indian Highways Management Company (IHMCL) NH fee-plaza list published July 2026 — 1,221 booths that accept FASTag today.

Each plaza is tagged from its concession end date, compared with today:

• Active — concession end is more than 12 months away.
• Expiring within 12 months — still valid, clock running down.
• Expired · still collecting — the published or reconstructed concession has ended, and the plaza remains on the live IHMCL list. NHAI has told courts that collection can continue after BOT expiry until capital cost is recovered.

End dates are filled in this order:

1. Explicit concession window from NHAI Toll Information System records.
2. Commercial-operation or fee-notification date plus typical tenure: 20 years BOT / DBFOT, 15 years public-funded or HAM (NH Fee Rules 2008 default), 9 years OMT, 30 years TOT / bridges.
3. Vintage estimate from plaza serial for booths with no TIS match — labelled on the plaza page.

Rates, when shown, are last-published TIS figures inflated by a modest WPI path. They are indicative, not a gazette. Always check the plaza or the NHAI toll calculator before a trip.

This is a civic reading of public lists, not an official MoRTH product. Gazette notifications win if they disagree.
